Standardized Data Elements
HDL receives data from different sources and all types of formats. HDL’s On-Line Directory standardization processes include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Standardize addresses to USPS standards
  • Create unique Provider records, each tied to one master record
  • Perform telephone number validation
  • Match normalized records to identify possible duplicates
  • Check data against any other customer-specific edits
  • Create Unique Provider Records

Track Multiple Networks Affiliations
HDL has designed its database structure to track and differentiate various Providers and their affiliations.

Data Mining Services
HDL's Data Mining Services can extract and sort data, based upon criteria established by clients.

Special Reporting
Standardized and customized reports are available, based upon customer need. Our clients often use Quality Control and User Access reports. These reports include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Web Hits Reports, by location
  • Network Reports, by specialty
  • Error Reports, on Provider data information

GeoCoder & CASS Certify
HDL uses GeoCoder software to assign geographic coordinates - longitude and latitude - to individual Provider locations. These coordinates are the key to effectively locate Providers in the user specified search criteria. GeoCoder can assign geographic coordinates, using either a complete or partial street address.

HDL uses ZP4 software to validate, correct, and standardize provider addresses to USPS standards. ZP4 is "CASS-Certified" and "DPV-Certified" for accuracy by the United States Postal Service.

Provider Network Access Composition (Geo-Coding)
HDL provides layered Geo-Coded maps, allowing for proper assessment of Provider Network Composition. Any data element can be compared on a geographic basis. Sample Geo-Coded analysis is available for distribution to members, along with satisfaction surveys.

In order to become compliant with industry, state, and federal guidelines, Managed Care Organizations must provide adequate access to all of its members.
